Kids Activity: Paint with Ping Pong Balls

Materials reqd for paint with ping pong balls:

ping pong balls, paints, paint bowls, drawing sheets, tongs, tray.

Kids Activity: Paint with Ping Pong Balls

We used two colors, one for each ball. I placed a drawing sheet on a tray and asked him to dip a ball in the paint container, so the entire surface is covered with paint. He did it with his hand so his whole hand was dripping with red paint! So I handed him a pair of tongs.

Quite tricky picking out the slippery ball with tongs! Peels of laughter every time it slipped way! A good fine motor practice I must add! He eventually picked the paint covered ball and placed it on the sheet.

He then moved the tray around to roll the ball and form prints. Peels of laughter again, every time the ball rolled off the tray!
