Cutting Practice

'Twas just one of those days. When my tiny tot suddenly showed interest in cutting! And he went on a rampage!

I'd left some strips to cut to pieces on his shelf. And he cut them. More mama! More! So I drew some more with color pencils on colored paper. And more and more. Till it was a competition between which is faster, drawing or cutting!

Many of those doodles were just hearts, cuz it's easy and quick. But my kid immediately noticed and said "why are you making so many hearts mama!"... uh oh.

So I put him to work. To put stickers on strips of paper to cut later. Haha.

This went on for TWO HOURS can y'believe it!

'Twas just one of those days, y' know!

Until later! Stay in touch!

  6. What a smart idea! Kids really do need practice cutting. I've even shared with some adults how to cut much smoother and rounder by turning the paper and not the scissors. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
