Kids Art: Painting with 'Popsicles'

Well, they aren't technically popsicles. At least not edible ones! We just froze some colored water in ice cube trays and inserted a straw in each well before putting it in the freezer.

The next day we had colorful popsicles! And he painted many sheets with them!

The two learnings from this simple activity were: Don't bang the ice cube tray to shake out the ice- the straws break! And more paint less water is a better idea- as it won't soak up the paper!

Until later! Stay in touch!

  1. This is such a great idea. I have tons of baby food holders left over now that my boys are older that would be perfect for this project.

So excited to try it out!

Stopping by from the Link and Learn blog hop!
