Easter Egg Activity: with Melted Crayons & Markers

Crayons aren't my kids favorite. So although I thought this would be fun, he was done with coloring just one egg!

The Practical Mom: Easter Egg Activity with Melted Crayons & Markers

Took out boiled egg from the hot pan and placed it on the carton so he wouldn't have to touch it. He then colored it with a few wax crayons, as soon as they touched the hot egg, they melted a bit giving a beautiful result.

He was PRETTY excited about markers though, after all these months of art activities at home I finally got him a set. Paint wash off, permanent markers don't! so after this activity too, I took em straight to my secret drawer in my cupboard!

  5. When I was a kid I loved coloring! Don't see a lot of kids doing it anymore. Even if he only colored one egg it still looks like he enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
