Reggio Inspired activities have an invitation to play, to attract children to come, sit and use the laid out pre-selected items in their own way. These days though, the invitation for any activity are pinterest images! I came across stick people on Danya Banya and showed it to him. He instantly said "lets do this!". So we ran into our balcony, which is covered with the branches and leaves of the Neem Tree and cut a small branch.

Then he went to collect other items: Googly eyes, yarn, crepe ribbons & glue. He first spend 'quality time' cutting yarn (hes obsessed with cutting!) and the team leader that he is, delegated the task of tying up yarn as 'hair' to me. "I'll cut, you tie mama!" alright!
For some reason he insisted on pasting googly eyes one below the other, not just two but three, so we're calling them the stick monsters!
What a cute idea! This would definitely keep my boys entertained, thank you for sharing.
