Using glue is one of his favorite activity
and leaf cut-outs are the easiest thing to make for this purpose! I
painted a tree truck on his sheet of paper and gave him green leaves cut from
green paper to stick randomly on the branches. First I tried with big leaves
and then small leaves. Then when he asked for "more!" I gave him
green leaves and simple flowers cut out from yellow chart paper to stick on a
blank sheet of paper.
He used to squeeze out a big blob of glue every time, and after several such projects I introduced the sticky glue, to show him only a teeny bit is enough! I hope he remembers that next time!
